Stonebwoy disobeys Mother, Mrs. Catherine Satekla

Before Mrs. Catherine Satekla kicked the bucket, Stonebwoy’s mother, she and the dance hall musician on several occasions argued about his decision to replace his knee. Stonebwoy told Anita Erskine on Starr FM in Accra that his deceased mother told him not to temper with his knee but he should let it be as it has always been.

“I know I’ve disobeyed my mother for replacing my knee. We’ve been going back and forth about this issue. She has told me again and again to just leave it as it is.

It gets to a point in time that I’ve even decided to leave it as it is but different thoughts kept running through my brain leading to the final decision to finally replace the knee. But I know she would be happy that I’ve still gone ahead to do the knee replacement.”

The late Catherine Satekla, died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra in 2015.
