The nominees list will be published in the media after the launch to give the general public an opportunity to influence the scheme through their votes.
The launch will announce and set in motion the many activities to be held during the awards ceremony and will also reveal the reason behind year’s event themed: ‘Move To The Beat”.
In an interview with BEATWAVES, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Merqury Republic Events, Merqury Quaye, mentioned that this year’s event has been repackaged with more exciting features, adding that the awards planning committee and the organisers are also planning to institute measures to continue to uplift the image of the prestigious award scheme.
This year’s event, according to him, is expected to be graced by a number of personalities, radio DJs, presenters and the stakeholders in the creative industry.
