For this latest release, the Kobe X appears to make use of a "University Red/Obsidian" Flyknit upper which is complimented with a "White" Swoosh. The appearance of star graphics on the tongue further leads us to believe this is a special theme behind this release. Considering the NBA is currently in the midst of celebrating Hoops for Troops and brands have released commemorative kicks in celebration, this release could also be in honor of Veteran's Day which falls on Wednesday, November 11.
However, Kobe 24-7, the individual who shared the image on Niketalk, posted a release date of November 24. If the date is true, then Nike will have missed the holiday by almost two weeks. But all things considered, it shouldn't be much of an issue as fans of the shoe will cop regardless. Stay tuned as official release details should come to light soon.
